Black Hole of My Soul

An entity of darkness

lives and breathes intertwined,

beneath my soul, raw, ready

to spawn and grow unspoken.

Darkness consumes my breath,

depletes nourishment

from my core. Swallows

morsels of life, hidden

in my cells. An infection,

poisoning my mind, slowly

feeds on my light. Resolve

hardens, nothing can penetrate.

Walls closing in, caving

around me. My thoughts

snuffed me out.

Black hole of my soul.
